National Night Out

NNO is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer and improve quality of life. During the campaign, residents in neighborhoods throughout Arlington County and across the nation are asked to turn on their porch lights, lock their doors and spend the evening outside with their neighbors, police officers, firefighters and other County personnel.
The Crystal City Civic Association will co-sponsor, along with the Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID), an NNO at the Water Park on August 6 from 6-9 pm.
The Stand will be open and serving up its delicious food and drink and a number of Crystal City shops and restaurants will be doing raffles and giveaways on site.
In addition to police and fire department vehicles, the Connection Library is doing a children’s corner, Total Party will have gift certificates, and Synetic Theater may do a pirate pop up.
